Who is Green Africa?

Green Africa Airways was founded in 2015 and made its first flight, Lagos to Abuja, on 12 August 2021. It is based in Ikeja, Lagos, and sells low fares with separate charges for bags and extras.

In 2025 its leasing company repossessed its ATR fleet and flights were halted. It bought its first own aircraft, an ATR 72-500, in April 2025, and a second, an ATR 72-600, in February 2026. Its account on X announced Lagos to Ilorin flights restarting on 21 September 2026.

Where does Green Africa fly from Nigeria?

Flight schedule data from September 2026 showed Green Africa flying between Lagos, Abuja, Akure, Benin City, Ibadan, Ilorin and Port Harcourt. Its network has changed often since 2025, so check the routes on Green Africa's own site.
