How FlexPay works
- Search and choose your flight on SkyKoda, domestic or international. Every fare shows the amount you would pay today with FlexPay.
- Choose FlexPay at checkout. Pick your deposit (25%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 50% or 90%) and when you will pay the rest (within 1, 2, 3, 5 or 30 days).
- Pay the deposit by card (Visa, Mastercard, Verve) or bank transfer.
- Pay the balance in one go or in parts from Manage booking before the due date. We remind you by e-mail.
- Get your e-ticket on WhatsApp and by e-mail as soon as you have paid in full.
Good to know before you choose FlexPay
- The fare isn't held until you've paid in full. Airlines don't hold seats on a deposit, so the price can change. We check it before every payment and show you the current total. If the fare goes down, you pay less.
- Pay the balance quickly on busy dates. Around Christmas, Easter and Sallah, fares rise as seats sell out, so a shorter due date protects you.
- If you can't finish paying, the plan is cancelled after the due date and what you paid is refunded, minus a cancellation fee.
- Once your ticket is issued, the airline's fare rules apply to changes and refunds, as with any ticket.

Can I book a flight now and pay later in Nigeria?
Yes. With FlexPay on SkyKoda you pay a deposit of 25%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 50% or 90% of the total today and the rest within 1, 2, 3, 5 or 30 days. Your ticket is issued once you have paid in full.
How much do I pay today?
At least 25% of the total. For example, on a ₦112,288 Lagos to Abuja fare you would pay about ₦28,072 today.
Is there a fee or interest?
There is no interest. A FlexPay fee of 6% of the airline's base fare is added and shown before you pay.
Is FlexPay a loan? Do you check my credit?
No. FlexPay is not a loan and there is no credit check: you pay a deposit on your own booking and the balance by the due date you choose.
Is my fare locked when I pay the deposit?
No. The airline does not hold the seat or the fare until you have paid in full, so the price can go up or down. SkyKoda checks the price before every payment and shows you the current total. If the fare goes down, you pay less.
What happens if I can't pay the balance?
We remind you before the due date. If the balance is still unpaid after it, the plan is cancelled and the money you paid is refunded, minus a cancellation fee.
Can I use FlexPay for international flights?
Yes. FlexPay works on the domestic and international flights SkyKoda sells, for example Lagos to Abuja, Accra, London, Dubai or Toronto.

FlexPay terms
1. Your deposit
At checkout you choose a deposit of 25%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 50% or 90% of the total. A FlexPay fee of 6% of the airline's base fare is added to the total and shown before you pay. Paying the deposit reserves your trip with SkyKoda; it does not issue a ticket.
2. The balance and your due date
You also choose when to pay the rest: within 1, 2, 3, 5 or 30 days of booking. The due date is shown on your booking and in your e-mails, and you can pay the balance in one go or in parts from Manage booking, by card or bank transfer.
3. If the fare changes
Because the seat and fare aren't held with the airline until you've paid in full, the airline's price can go up or down. We check the price before every payment and before issuing your ticket. If it changed, we show you the new total and e-mail you the new balance. If the fare goes down, you pay less.
4. If you don't pay the balance by the due date
We remind you by e-mail before the due date. If the balance still isn't paid after the due date, your plan is cancelled and the money you paid is refunded to you, minus a cancellation fee.
5. After your ticket is issued
Your ticket follows the airline's fare rules for changes and refunds, the same as any other ticket. You can see the rules for your fare in the "Fare Rules" tab before you book.
