How a VFS application works
- Check the embassy's own visa page for which visa you need and whether it uses VFS.
- Fill the government's online form (e.g. UK on gov.uk, Canada on IRCC) and pay the visa fee where the government says to.
- Book an appointment on the official VFS site for that country (visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/<country code>); never pay anyone for a slot.
- Attend the VFS centre on time with passport, printed checklist documents and appointment letter; give fingerprints and photo.
- Track your application online; collect the passport or use VFS courier. The embassy, not VFS, decides the visa.
